south coast. just one image

paddling south coast of newfoundland. mainly cliffs. big ones. gigantic. gargantuan ones. ah, but you can't imagine (unless you've been in any) but here, in a small harbour just off, a view from man o'war cove (resettled - aren't they all!). no cliffs, surprisely, just a pretty little harbour.

Looks beautiful. Was this taken on a kayak trip?

WOW just blown away by the beauty contained within your blog. I have only dipped in so far but I will definitely be back.

Yes, Joe, taken summer 2009 on a kayak trip on the south coast of NL near Baie d'espoir.

Thank you Claire. I'm afraid I haven't been keeping up the blog. But am hoping to get back to doing so after some summer trips.

That's a nice shot, Now seems like it would be the best time of year to do that up there.

KRM - it is one of the most exquisite places to kayak, not only around Newfoundland. But I should post photos from this trip that show the enormous cliffs & fjords that are the true expression of this near deserted coastline... I've not kept up blog for sometime as I've developed tendonitis in right elbow & not paddling - has changed life dramatically (-vely). Enuf self-pity!
